Description John Schuetz 2022-08-23 14:32:33 UTC

After a Windows 10 session is resumed after having locked the display (or sleep), the backgrounds of drop down menus changes color from the original.

Steps to Reproduce:

3.Lock display
4.Resume display
5.Select a menu bar item. Color of background of drop down menu is changed (in my case the menu is rendered nearly unreadable).

Actual Results:
Color of background of menu bar is changed from what it should be.

Thank you for reporting the bug. To be certain the reported issue is not related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your Libreoffice profile ( https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile ) and re-test?

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the issue is still present

Thank you for looking at this! When I remove my profile and start from fresh, I launch the Libreoffice program, select any menu, such as file, and it's correct. I Win+L to lock my screen, re-log into my screen, select any menu, and it has the corrupted background color. This happens also in safe mode.

I'm not sure how this works in Linux; I use Windows 10. It doesn't seem to be fixed in 7.4.1. For more information, after the menus goes dark, if I switch the Windows color settings to light (right click on desktop background, select personalize, select "Colors" in sidebar, select light in "Choose your color" dropdown, the menus also appear light. If I switch back to dark mode via the same method, the menus appear dark. If the menus are supposed to be dark, following Windows (which I don't think is correct), then at least the text should be light as to make the menus easily read.

@John, can you add a printscreen of changed background? Thank you

I don't reproduce problem after display lock with LO 7.5+ and I cannot test after resume.
Until shown differently, I set New based on a duplicate.

Win os/DE 'dark' mode corrected as experimental feature for 7.4.2, and by default in 7.5

workaround at 7.4.2 of enabling experimental features. See cause description bug 151756
