I'm French, et je ne pratique pas l'anglais suffisamment pour m'exprimer dans cette langue.

Libre Office Writer est long à s'ouvrir. 
Libre Office Writer ne s'ouvre jamais à la dernière ligne, la plus récente, du document.

Note that these two issues (slow opening and not restoring the last position) may be directly connected; also note that some part of the problem could be fixed with commit 9426e90c2c339b16487c48cd885a3e4586e1e1f3 (will be available in the next 7.5 - or whatever number it will get).

Also you didn't explain if you followed the documentation [1] and set your user details (at least user name) to enable automatic restore of the last position.
