I could not reproduce. Can you provide a sample file?

I can’t reproduce either. Please re-test with 7.5. @BogdanB: You don’t seem to have a color Emoji font, so this moght be different from OP. I have color Emoji and I tested on macOS and Linux and can’t reproduce.
Please re-open if still reproducible.
