Description amab8901 2022-09-18 06:37:06 UTC
Description:
Whenever I create footnote, it's always highlighted in grey background color and I apparently am unable to change it to make it non-highlighted or even highlighted with some other background color.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Libreoffice Writer
2.Write "Hey, how are you doing man?"
3.At the end of the sentence, add a footnote (Menu at Top > Insert > Header and Footer > Footer)

Actual Results:
The footnote has grey background color and the background color cannot be change to none or some other color.

Expected Results:
The footnote shouldn't have any background color by default, and the background color should be modifiable to any color of my choice

Reproducible: Always

Your system is set to "View - Field shadings". Turn that off and the visual-only shading will go away. (It isn't there in print preview.)
