Further testing reveals that it is not just APSO, but also the latest version of the MRI extension, with a similar error message : Connector : couldn't connect to pipe "74cc2cf31d468c7a37b7a851872ba7f3e3b3bbeef0f58d2b1bf48ff8ba79086": 10
The extensions MRI and APSO do eventually get installed, after repeated attempts, multiple restarts of LO, and forced activation of the extension. Still not correct behaviour though.
