Description: In previous versions a text could wrap along a connector in LO draw. This was done with fontwork. With the current stable and developer version the button fontwork is greyed out. No way to access fontwork for the text of a connector. Previous documents still show the text along the connector. Text can be changed, but not any fontwork attributes, because fontwork is greyed out Steps to Reproduce: 1. open a new drawing 2. create two circles and add a connector between those two circles 3. Add a text to the connector 4. try to use fontwork to have the text printed along the conector 5. fontwork button is greyed out Actual Results: No way to open fontwork dialog box Expected Results: dialog box should open to set text attributes Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: "Old" documents still show the text along the connector. Copying the connector and changeing the text works, but you can't change the text attributes like above or below the connector
Created attachment 182715 [details] Screenshot Fontwork dialog I cannot reproduce your problem. Are you sure you use the right tool? If you click it if nothing is selected, it opens a floating window "Fontwork". A screenshot of the tool is attached. It might be, that the icon for that tool is lost in your settings? Please customize your settings again. For example add the tool to the menu "Tools". You find the command "Fontwork" in category "Format". Note, that there exists another tool "Fontwork Shape" with the same icon. That is the wrong one.

Hi, thanks for the answer. It is wired. PLease have a look at the screenshot. The Text of the connector is selected, but the fontwork icon is still disabled, which is the same if I select the connector only without having the text selected. When you say that there is the same icon for a different fontwork tool I can't find it. I attached a second screenshot that shows what I do to add the fontwork Icon. Actually there is only on Icon for Fontwork. Is that the right one? Thanks Ralf

Hi, I tried it with different versions of LO and in fact it is the same over all versions. You were right, I had the wrong Icon. Fontwork and Fontwork Forms have the same Icon and that causes the confusion. Sorry for that. I will close that one. Ralf
