Hi, thanks for your report.

What distribution are you using?

I'm still on Plasma 5.25 and I'll wait till it's available in Kubuntu backports PPA to update. So right now I cannot confirm this bug.

However, I feel it may be a Plasma-related issue, since LO 7.4.1.2 is running very fast in Plasma 5.25.

Have you also reported this issue at KDE's bugzilla? If so, please share the link here.

I'm using debian sid.

I think it may be a bug of qt 5.15.6, because libreoffice-gtk3 is still as fast as usual.

I can't reproduce on Debian testing after upgrading to Qt 5.15.6 (e.g. package libqt5core5a 5.15.6+dfsg-2 ) and Plasma 5.26 (e.g. plasma-desktop 4:5.26.0-1 ) today. LibreOffice still starts reasonably fast (within a few seconds).

I tested both, LO as packaged by Debian and a self-compiled LO master debug build.

Thank you for your report.
Do you use any display scaling setting, i.e. not default 100%? Or a high DPI setting?
