Description: I use a French version of LibreOffice I select a form, right click on it and choose "remplissage..." (must be "Fill...") and prepare a gradient colour. To reuse it for other objects I record it and it appears in the list along the already recorded ones. When I record (register it) the increment is set to "Automatic" but that flag is not saved, when I reuse the gradient colour elsewhere the increment is not Automatic, event in my first object if I want to change the gradient colour the Automatic flag is lost and I must reset it each time. Steps to Reproduce: 1.create a form 2.select "fill..." (?) 3.select "gradient" (?), create a gradient colour (I did it linear) and set Automatic 4.save the colour for later reuse 5.create another object and try to apply the gradient colour, Automatic is not set and must be set by hand 6.go back to the original object, gradient colour has no Automatic flag set The Automatic flag in gradient colours is not saved Actual Results: Gradient colour has originally saved is not applied on other objects Expected Results: The gradient colour should save the Automatic flag when saving the gradient colour Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 7.3.6.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: c28ca90fd6e1a19e189fc16c05f8f8924961e12e CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19043; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR); UI: fr-FR Calc: threaded
Hi Philippe, thanks for reporting. Can you please check if it is the same problem as reported in bug 150545 ? It seems the "Automatic" option changes when it shouldn't.

The "Increment" settings belong to the style of an object, not to the gradient definition. Unfortunately the Gradient-dialog does not reflect this. The gradient dialog needs a redesign anyway because of the new "multicolor gradient" feature. Thereby "Increment" could be better designed to reflect that it cannot be saved in gradient definitions.
