hi, it is very shocking for us Westerners to find under hyphenation Chinese conversion... Chinese people tend to live in the West more and more, sure, no problem whatsoever, we are not talking about the state of the world anyway :) However, Libreoffice started out, back int the dim historical day as a program (application) for us Westerners... and now we realize we have to share it with the entire world... and in our perception it seems like a new owner reshapes the place he moved into in any case: we Westerners will never tend to move to China, nor will we learn Chinese extensively... so, for us it is unnecessary to have our applications extended with Chinese stuff -- stuff useful for our Chinese friends and it is not about another language only... Chinese language is "Chinese" in may senses, we can't make it out, nor do we want to... if we are confronted with options which Chinese people might find useful, however good it is for them, it is bad for us... screwing up out working environment... hindering Let's keep it in mind that Chinese options are good for Chinese people, not for us who used to be the default "users", default people using this application.. so extending it should happen for the "new ones" nor for the "original ones"... also, Chinese people living in the West can take use of the bi-lingual environment, which is a good thing - -good for them, no envy!! :) but we don't get any plus by given all the Chinese options in our menus... in fact, it feels that from our original environment, we have been ported to Asia where we are a minority and have to look for our western options in the Chinese application... NO OFFENSE in any sense, not to mention racism or discrimination but seriously, should we start forking a Libreoffice version for Westerners?
