Description Ulf Dunkel 2022-10-30 05:33:26 UTC
In a book document, I added some pages at the very end of the book, behind the auto-generated endnotes. In this text, I have placed some images which should wrap the text accordingly. This does not work at all. I set up the images properly (anchor to paragraph, set relevant Wrap options, etc. But there's no way text gets wrapped accordingly.

When I place the same text and images somewhere in the book in front of the page where the endnotes are collected, everything works fine.

I believe the text wrapping feature should be available everywhere in a longer document.

Ulf, thank you for reporting the bug. Is it possible for you to add a short sample document so somebody else can tray to reproduce the bug? Thank you.

Thank you for sample document. I think it is a duplicate of bug 144526. Feel free to change it back to UNCONFIRMED with a short reasoning, if you disagree.

I disagree because bug 144526 focuses on text wrapping rules in endnotes, while my bug report focuses on text behaviour behind the endnotes section at all.

My guessing is that the original ODT document concept was that the endnotes section should be the very last section of any document which seems to be an unnecessary restriction.

I'm not an expert, but as far as I can see, there is no "behind" the endnotes section, and therefore you report is covered by bug 144526

I agree, and this is covered by bug 129036 and also related to bug 147400

I agree with everything that helps fixing the bug which has been reported from several users.
