In recent versions (regression!) when right-clicking on a table of contents (TOC) one of the menu items read: "Verzeichnisse aktualisieren" (note the plural!) However (AFAIK) the action would only update the particular TOC, not all TOCs. Thus I consider the current translation as a misleading one.
I just tested with: Version: 7.4.2.3 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 382eef1f22670f7f4118c8c2dd222ec7ad009daf CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: de-DE (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded And: Version: 7.3.6.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: c28ca90fd6e1a19e189fc16c05f8f8924961e12e CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: de-DE (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded It is true that in English, it is singular, and plural in German, even though it only updates one ToC. It looks like it has already been fixed though, e.g.: https://translations.documentfoundation.org/translate/libo_ui-7-4/officecfgregistrydataorgopenofficeofficeui/de/?checksum=9452201239a97eeb&q=Verzeichnis+aktualisieren&sort_by=-priority%2Cposition#history I assume it will be available with the next update you download.
