Font color recent list lost after using background fill
Steps to reproduce below.

It's a shame, as that Recent color list is useful.

1. Type text in a cell
2. Choose a text color by clicking the little triangle pointing down at the side of the "Font color" icon, eg Blue.
3. Click that little triangle again and choose another text color, eg Red
4. Click "Fill background color" little down triangle and choose eg Yellow
5. Click "Fill background color" little down triangle and choose "no background color"
6. Click the little triangle by the "Font color" icon and see the "Recent" list is gone, you can't see Blue or Red there.

Seems the 'Recent' it's the same for both.

Version: 7.4.3.1 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 3793858a34d8fef5b92f8fee233f97766f05e281
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: es-ES (es_ES); UI: en-US Calc: CL

But I don't know if it was designed to be so, or can be a bug.

Hi miguel, Interestingly the "Recent" list seems to get cleared when changing a cell to "no fill" unfortunatly too.
Comment 3 m_a_riosv 2022-11-21 01:39:33 UTC
I can not get recent list cleared.
For both, when used 'Automatic' or 'Not fill', the default value became the last on the recent list.

I can't reproduce in a build from today:

Version: 7.5.0.0.alpha1+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 1fd42472e2b1a2169d56e62ef11aa7ee1f7815e7
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

nor:

Version: 7.4.3.2 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 1048a8393ae2eeec98dff31b5c133c5f1d08b890
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

But I can reproduce in:

Version: 7.3.7.2 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: e114eadc50a9ff8d8c8a0567d6da8f454beeb84f
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Maybe it was fixed recently.

Miguel: you can't reproduce in recent versions either, is that right?
Jonny, could you please try with version 7.4.3?
If you still see the issue, please paste here the info from Help > About LibreOffice.

Recent colors are supposed to be the same throughout the app, I believe. For example, you will see the same ones in the Line or Area dialogs. I think it makes sense, to be able to make documents consistent in many parts.

Thank you, sounds like was fixed. Sorry I'm stuck on 7.4.2.3 Ubuntu until next release in 2023 I expect.
