Description: On Windows 10 Pro latest version of Libre Office 7.4 does not have the menu option to edit or remove hyperlinks. When I right click on a cell in Calc that contains a hyperlink, the pop out menu does not have any menu options to edit hyperlinks, I down graded back to V7.3 and now I have the menus. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install v74 Try to edit hyperlink - No menus 2. Install v73 Works fine 3. Actual Results: Once downgrade version works fine Expected Results: Once downgrade version works fine Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Once downgrade version works fine
In my case, in LO 7.4 I have first to double-click the cell containing the hyperlink. Then, when the cell is in edit mode, I can right-click it and then select Edit Hyperlink. In LO 7.2 the Edit Hyperlink popup-menu appears without having to double-click it. I'm not sure whether this is a regression or a change in UX. Tested with (no need to double-click) Version: 7.2.6.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: b0ec3a565991f7569a5a7f5d24fed7f52653d754 CPU threads: 12; OS: Linux 5.19; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb) Locale: pt-BR (pt_BR.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded And with (need to double-click first) Version: 7.4.2.3 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 40(Build:3) CPU threads: 12; OS: Linux 5.19; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb) Locale: pt-BR (pt_BR.UTF-8); UI: en-US Ubuntu package version: 1:7.4.2~rc3-0ubuntu1 Calc: threaded
That was actually intended as a change. The commit in question is: https://git.libreoffice.org/core/+/110d3504c1f738a1d7f740cc212064dafa4fb224 It fixed bug 127341. The idea was that we need to be able to bring up that cell context menu, instead of going straight into edit mode and bringing up the hyperlink context menu. Hope that makes sense, Drake! :)
