Description: Copypasting a word adds an additional space Steps to Reproduce: 1. In a Writer document, type three words each separated by a tab 2. Select and copy the second word 3. Select the third word and paste Actual Results: The third word is replaced by the second word (intended), but with an added space in front (unintended) Expected Results: Word is pasted without any added space in front of it Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Only seems to happen when pasting at the end of a sentence?
Created attachment 183755 [details] Example of added space When copypasting a word from row 1 to row 2, an extra space is added (upper arrow) When copypasting a word from row 2 to row 1, an extra space is not added (lower arrow)
Someone wants the added space/s, some other wants no added space/s. Maybe we need an option that can be unchecked in Tools - Options - Writer - Formatting Aids. (In reply to robert.be.johansson from comment #0) I confirm it with Version: 7.4.3.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 1048a8393ae2eeec98dff31b5c133c5f1d08b890 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-GB Calc: CL But for me it's the expected result, if a word is separated by a space from another word. Hope you agree. > Additional Info: > Only seems to happen when pasting at the end of a sentence? This is bug 112011 => Duplicate *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 112011 ***
