Description markballew 2022-11-25 16:27:06 UTC
Description:
Opened xlsx formatted file on laptop from dropbox repository, made enhancements to data including filters. Saved to xlsx format as prompted option. Then from desktop using Excel 2016 tried to open file. Excel did not respond to double click on file with extension xlsx. Had to open Excel and then local file and open file. Was promted with message question if I wanted to recover file. After first recovery file did not look right, so I performed task again, this time saving with filters unapplied on laptop with LibreOffice Calc. Switched to Excel 2016 on desktop, still did not open file on double-click, opened from with in Excel session and was prompted for recovery again. Accepted recovered data. Captured screenshots and error log.

Steps to Reproduce:

Captured screenshots and error log.

Actual Results:
Excel recovered file and removed two features.

Expected Results:
Either prompted in LibreOffice that features will not be saved or usable in MS Excel or features correctly saved for Excel interpretation.
