After setting an Option button in an empty Calc- or Writerdocument it cannot be change from "Set" to "Not set"

I think you are misleading the type of button, for only one, 'Check button' it's the right selection and works fine for me.
'Option button' needs two 'Option button' to change between them, or more if there are.
