Description jeanmmr 2022-12-01 16:34:04 UTC
Trying to use Find and Replace to change the formatting. If I have a word a number of times in a document in a regular font that I want to change to a bold version of that font, it finds the words but makes no change to the font attribute. I have tried a number of different target fonts and/or attributes and no font/attribute changes are made. The find/replace will replace the word, but not the font/attributes.

Not a bug for me.

In the Replace field you must enter "&" (without quotes).
Press the Format button, Font tab, and select Bold under Style.
Press the Replace All button.

Can you share your LibreOffice version (see in menu Help - About LibreOffice, use the copy button)?

With me:
Version: 7.3.7.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: e114eadc50a9ff8d8c8a0567d6da8f454beeb84f
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: default; VCL: win
Locale: es-MX (es_ES); UI: en-US
Calc: CL

Changed status to NEEDINFO.

I swear to god that I spent more than an hour fighting this last Thursday, but after re-installing 7.4.3.2 this morning, it is working the same as 7.3.4.2 did. I apologize for adding to your workload.
