The PCLinuxOS lead developer, Texstar, opened a bug for this around September, and I commented on that, but I can no longer find it on bugzilla! At that time it caused a crash rather than an error report. I presume as no other distro's users have reported the problem it must be peculiar to the PCLinuxOS environment. I have searched for a changelog online but have been unable to locate one.
Tried to add tdf@pollux.tdf to CC list as per bibisect instructions but address not recognised.
PCLinuxOS' script writer who manages LO installation for the distro tipped me off it's already fixed in version 7.5 alpha1, which I must admit I'd neglected to test, so this is no longer a bug. I have now tested and can confirm bug fixed already.
