Open attached file in Word and in Writer and compare the background. Version 4 was not able to render gradient background fill.

Created attachment 187770 [details] Gradient background by LibreOffice The same error exists for export. Word stores the gradient fill of a background as VML <fill> element. Such is able to describe linear and radial gradients even with multi-color. This is a missing feature. When implemented, not only two-color gradients but also the now available multi-color gradients should be implemented.
