Reproduction instructions: 1. Create a new Writer document. 2. Have your default paragraph style in font Liberation Serif, size 12. 3. Type in two paragraphs, each with at least 3 lines. You can use https://loremipsum.io/generator/ for generating text if you like. 4. Set both paragraphs to have vertical space 0.2" after the paragraph, nothing before, and single line spacing. 5. Enable line numbering with interval 1. 6. Select the entirety of the second paragraph. 7. Set the font size to something small, e.g. 6 pt Expected result: The font size of the line numbering for the second paragraph should be the same for all lines of paragraph 2. Actual result: The font size of the line numbering for the first line of the second paragraph is 6pt, and for the second line onwards is 7pt.

I confirm it with Version: 7.6.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 376152fbd110cdc0a2cde1fa9758f36c016d9352 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US (de_DE); UI: en-GB Calc: CL threaded Eyal, I can see different font size, but don't know how to see the specific value.
(In reply to Dieter from comment #3) > Eyal, I can see different font size, but don't know how to see the specific > value. Ah, yes, it's not like I got a notification about the size. I just compared it to numbers in the text itself, which are 6pt; and then I had another paragraph with text in larger size 7pt and sort of eyeballed it.
(In reply to Eyal Rozenberg from comment #2) > Created attachment 184186 [details] > Screenshot of attachment 184185 [details] rendered in Writer Your doc still displays the badness, but I can't repro from scratch, actually even with 7.5. Can you please re-test? Note for testers: step 5 should include the menu path Tools - Line Numbering. Arch Linux 64-bit Version: 25.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: fb39ae1bc7e4b1cbfc3108efca52ec310faf7363 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.10; UI render: default; VCL: kf6 (cairo+wayland) Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded Built on 14 September 2024 Version: 25.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 47a348bb0fd6dfdd93c1975d216daadc4f6b9b6f CPU threads: 2; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (10.0 build 22621); UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-GB Calc: threaded
(In reply to Buovjaga from comment #5) > Can you please re-test? Try setting the line spacing in step (4.) to Proportional 120% instead of single. Without doing that, I couldn't reproduce either, but with that - I can reproduce using: Version: 24.2.5.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: bffef4ea93e59bebbeaf7f431bb02b1a39ee8a59 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 6.6; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-IL (en_IL); UI: en-US
Ok, now I see in your example document the line height is actually 1.15. I will add the steps to bug 112009, which is clearly a duplicate after looking at its attachment. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 112009 ***
