Text Variables in the Footer of the 7.4 Quick Start guide don't display their values. Confirmed this across many files from many origins. The 'show text variable" field can be added or edited, but I'm unable to get it to display values that are obviously present in the file and working in other (LO Writer 6.4, Collabora Office 20.x) clients. Verified this is present in Linux 7.4.0.2 (preinstalled in Salix 15 ISO) and the current "fresh" as of 26 dec 2022 app images Basic,Standard and Full on the downloads page. Also confirmed on the Libreoffice facebook group that this issue also shows up LO Writer 7.4.3.2 running in windows (of uknown origin, but the number seems to be LO official release.) https://www.facebook.com/groups/libreoffice.user.group/permalink/2546034318913201/
The original example file uses documentinfo:title, not variable (type text) This document should be used for confirmation: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1m_6crTpiilKpoF8KHkJewrrn-fStlKHu/view?usp=share_link
Created attachment 184369 [details] example document Michael, can you please provide precise steps using this attachment you linked to (or steps to reproduce the issue from scratch)? I don't understand what the issue is and I don't see a difference between LibreOffice 7.4.3.2 and 6.4.7.2. Thank you.
