Allow opening a "Text type document" within LibreOffice Calc - New spreadsheet with all Libreoffice Writer functions. This functionality would be another differential.

Use Insert > OLE Object > OLE Object...: Text to add a Writer document into a Calc spreadsheet. Or do you expect something else?

Hmm, not seeing a point. OLE object linking to an ODF Text document does this. Otherwise if you are in the Calc module and open a text document you are in the Writer module UI--exactly what we have now.
