Description: Hello again Dieter Unfortunately exactly the same thing has happened again ie "Creating an envelope in a Writer document such as a letter (whether as a new document or an insertion) does not generate the correct size of envelope (DL for example: 220mmx110mm), but instead creates a large squarish format with the addressee's address plonked somewhere in the middle. The borders of the envelope are not highlighted nor even shown, so one has to accept on trust where the address will be printed on the envelope." Am I going to have to reset my user profile or re-start in safe mode every time I want to print an envelope? Something is surely wrong if my user profile gets corrupted after such a short time after resetting it Steps to Reproduce: 1.invoke envelope insert 2. 3. Actual Results: As described above and previous bug report Expected Results: Envelope size correctly presented as new page or document Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Previously dismissed as NOTABUG, but it has immediately recurred as described above. UserProfile reset resolved the issue for a very short time and then it recurred for no apparent reason
Zac had previously reported in bug 152401. I think this is a duplicate of bug 107150. The profile reset solves it because it sets the envelope position back to the default one (Horizontal Left). However, if you can find a way to reproduce without changing the envelope position, please let us know. Please also add a screenshot if you are able to, to compare visually, and check the exact size of the envelope in Format > Page Style. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 107150 ***
