Could you give a try to brand new LO 7.4.4 + https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps ? Indeed there's a bunch of macOS specific bugs which have been fixed in this version.
Same thing with Version: 7.4.4.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 85569322deea74ec9134968a29af2df5663baa21 CPU threads: 6; OS: Mac OS X 12.6.2; UI render: default; VCL: osx Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); UI: fr-FR Calc: threaded
Thank you for your feedback. Since I don’t have more questions, I’ll put it back to unconfirmed.
I can not confirm Do you still see it in 7.5? I had several documents open in Space 1 I moved one into Space 2 I pressed cmd+shft+s and the save dialog opened in Space 2 as expected Version: 7.5.1.2 (AARCH64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: fcbaee479e84c6cd81291587d2ee68cba099e129 CPU threads: 10; OS: Mac OS X 13.2.1; UI render: default; VCL: osx Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
The behaviour is very strange according to the space witch LibreOffice is link. With LibreOffice attach to the space number 1. If we moove a window to space 2, the save dialog box remane to space 1. If space 2 is on a second screen it works !! With LibreOffice allocate to all spaces If we moove a window to space 2 and there is an other document on space 1, all the document moove to space 2. With LibreOffice allocate to none space It works fine ! Version: 7.5.1.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: fcbaee479e84c6cd81291587d2ee68cba099e129 CPU threads: 6; OS: Mac OS X 12.6.3; UI render: default; VCL: osx Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); UI: fr-FR Calc: threaded
[Automated Action] NeedInfo-To-Unconfirmed
Please let the earliest version impacted.
I add that in the second case, if LibreOffice is allocated to all spaces, it is the correct behavior that all opened documents will be visible in every spaces. And the save dialog works correctly in these case. It is only when LibreOffice is allocated to a specified space that the save dialog not correctly works and remain on the first space if we move a document to another.
Confirming with Version: 7.5.1.2 (AARCH64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: fcbaee479e84c6cd81291587d2ee68cba099e129 CPU threads: 8; OS: Mac OS X 13.2.1; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: osx Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); UI: fr-FR Calc: threaded
Dear Dominique W, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! Warm Regards, QA Team MassPing-UntouchedBug
I cannot reproduce this bug in macOS 15.4 Sequoia: Version: 25.2.2.2 (AARCH64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 7370d4be9e3cf6031a51beef54ff3bda878e3fac CPU threads: 8; OS: macOS 15.4; UI render: Skia/Metal; VCL: osx Locale: en-CA (en_CA.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded My guess is that this was a macOS bug that Apple finally fixed. AFAICT, native Open, Save, and Print dialogs are generally a black box and macOS controls the position of those dialogs so I'd recommend closing this bug as "not our bug".
