Description:
As in summary. It does not cause a problem but is annoying and could put off a new user.

Actual Results:
In WRITER Mode - INSERT FIELD Icon - Select MORE FIELDS - Error GENERAL ERROR Window appears

Expected Results:
The ERROR window is cleared by pressing OK and you continue as normal. Just annoying.

On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today or with LO Debian package 7.4.4.2 + gen rendering, I don't reproduce this.

Do you reproduce this with a brand new document?
Also, could you give a try to https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps ?
