Description: When using "Track Changes" for a document with numbered lists there will be shown some brackets around the items. At first it seems, that they are bookmarks, but there were never bookmarks used in the document. When hiding and re-showing the Track-Changes again, everything is displayed correctly. After saving this state and re-opening the document again, the brackets are shown again. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open document with track-changes 2. Recognize the brackets around some numbered lists 3. Hide "Track Changes" 4. Recognize the document which is displayed correctly 5. Show "Track Changes" 6. Document and Numbered lists are shown correctly (without brackets) Actual Results: Brackets ("Bookmark"-Like) are shown in some numbered lists Expected Results: Numbered lists are shown correctly after opening the document. Thanks Wolfgang. This is a new feature in 7.4, please see: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/7.4#New_numbering_in_Show_Changes_mode That issue is supposed to fix bug 115523 and bug 115524, so we can more clearly see how the numbering changed. I tested turning "Show Track Changes" on and off and I can still see the old numbers in bracket, so can't reproduce that part. If the numbers don't come back when turning it back on, there's an issue. Could you please attach an example document for us to reproduce that part port the issue? Wondering if that might become more of an issue with coloured bookmarks in 7.5.

Hello Stéphane, no problem. I added an example file where this issue applies. If you have further questions, please let me know :-) Regards, Wolfgang
Thank you for the example document! I can now reproduce with steps in the Description, looking at section 8 in attachment 185048 [details] Results: - Ordered list tracked changes displayed are wrong (shows first two paragraphs had numbering removed, but hiding changes shows that they are numbered) - Hiding then showing tracked changes again results in those numbering changes disappearing - Extra step: reload document, then Edit > Track Changes > Manage > Accept all: results in wrong numbering and leftover tracked changes visible. I changed the summary to focus on that middle issue. László, not sure how much of this is already covered in meta bug 143003, I'm finding it hard to detangle what's going on here. @Wolfgang, Stéphane: I'll check the usage of the newly optimized strikethrough formatting instead of the extra bracked characters, hoping that will be more user-friendly. Thanks for the report and its forwarding!
