Description: I am using the LibreOffice 7.4.4.2, on Windows 10 (64 bits). I am having problem with the configuration of the footnote numbering. When I configure for numbering the footnotes by page, the program (Writer) automatically resets for the default configuration, that is by document. Oddly, when I format the footnotes (e.g. text and font), the problem disappears. Steps to Reproduce: 1. There exists a huge file (with more than 300 pages), with more than 700 footnotes. 2. Opening the file, before to format the footnotes, if the footnote numbering is by document, change it for by page, in Tools->Footnotes and Endnotes. 3. Then write the text body of the document. Actual Results: The footnotes are renumbered by default and automatically by document instead of by page. Expected Results: Do not renumber the document footnotes. Reproducible: Sometimes User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: None.
