As I know LibreOffice doesn't manage tabs, so seems you have another program to manage tabs maybe 'windows tabs', if the case, please test LibreOffice without it.
Hi I'm not talking about tabs to open several files in a unique LO window - which does not exist. I'm talking about the tabs used to display the functionalities of LO (File/Main/...) I thought it was clear with the screenshots I included, but please have a look to the third I hope is clear enough.

Right now I no longer see the problem... but it was there.
