Description Ulrich Windl 2023-02-20 08:22:24 UTC
(I think this is a regression since 7.3.7)
When making/copying a line of text from Confluence in Firefox, and then try to insert that text "unformatted" in Writer, I get an error popup saying similar to "the correct format is not available".
However I can insert that text in GNU Emacs, or in BabelPad without any problem.
Even more strange: After I copied a word from the same Writer document and tried to insert "unformatted", it worked, but even more strange: Since then the same content is inserted, even when I selected/copied some different text in another application.
So it seems like the clipboard is completely broken in 7.4!

I could not try exactly the same with the Linux version 7.4.3.2, but it seems it works there as expected.
Comment 2 Ulrich Windl 2023-02-20 08:39:57 UTC
Opening and closing the document did not help. Also using a new document did not help. However when I closed Writer and opened it again, the clipboard worked as expected. Very strange!

Hi Ulrich
Do you have a publicly accessible website we could copy from to test the issue?
Also, please paste here the information from Help > About LibreOffice.
Thank you!
