Description Jeff 2023-02-25 21:44:16 UTC
Description:
I downloaded a pdf bank statement to Libre Text Editor (LTE) which of course does not keep the tabs and paragraphs. This was a 4-page file in LTE. While manually entering tabs and paragraphs (about an 1/2 hours' time worth) LTE locks up. I leave it alone and wait. After 20-30 seconds LTE crashes. When I reopened and confirmed for it to recover it did not recover any of the tabs and paragraphs I have been typing for over 1/2 hour. Recommend expanding the buffer size for recovering files. Also add auto save option so LTE saves every few minutes.

Actual Results:
download a pdf bank statement file and paste multiple lines to 4-5 page Libre Text Editor (LTE) (notice tabs and paragraphs are not pasted). Manually enter in tabs and paragraphs

Expected Results:
LTE crashes

Reproducible: Sometimes

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Stored all my last keys I typed for the past hour+ into a temp file.
Upon restarting LTE attempted to recover, but it did not have any of my keystrokes for the past hour. Unknow what version Properties Details only shows 7.4.Ink and this is not listed

Please give a try to last stable LO version 7.4.5 and apply https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps if necessary.
