Description divenex 2023-03-06 12:08:02 UTC
Description:
Searching for either LibreOffice or Office in the MS Store on Windows 11 only returns clones of LibreOffice distributed under different names and with crippled functionalities (e.g. Easy Office Suite, or Document Manager Pro, or sFree Office, or iWork Suite), but not the original LibreOffice distributed by "The Document Foundation".

The only way to find LibreOffice in the MS Store is by clicking on the link given here https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-from-microsoft-and-mac-app-stores/

I assume this must be a bug and you did not intend to hide LibreOffice from MS Store users right?

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the MS Store in Windows 11
2. Search for "LibreOffice" of just "Office"

Actual Results:
LibreOffice does not appear in the results, instead many copies of LibreOffice distributed under different names are returned (e.g. Easy Office Suite, or Document Manager Pro, or sFree Office, or iWork Suite,...).

Expected Results:
I would expect LibreOffice distributed by "The Document Foundation" to be returned from the MS Store search.

Reproducible: Always

I can see it listed in the Windows 10 Microsoft Store.
Can you please try again, as the listing was updated on the 9h of March?
