Description: Dear LibreOffice team, the welcome screen (without opened documents) and some menu elements (font size, font type, right side panel) blink when I move the mouse cursor over the buttons and other elements. It happens always since I've installed a Xfce edition of Linux Mint 21.1 (instead of Cinnamon) - maybe I shouldn't use Xfce? I've upgraded the program from 7.3.7.0 to 7.5.1.2, tried to change some visual effects and also started the program in safe mode, but it didn't help. I have this problem only with LibreOffice now. Could you check it please. Thank you! Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open LibreOffice in Linux Mint 21.1 Xfce 2. Move the mouse cursor over the menu elements Actual Results: Some menu elements or the welcome screen (if you close all opened documents) blink. Expected Results: The program should run without this blinking Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: Version: 7.5.1.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: fcbaee479e84c6cd81291587d2ee68cba099e129 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: pl-PL (pl_PL.UTF-8); UI: pl-PL Flatpak Calc: threaded

another GTK_IM_MODULE=xim .xinputrc profile issue?
If I understand your question correctly: I have the xim module. What exactly must be changed?
see the work up in see also bug 144813 If your GTK_IM_MODULE=xim, rework with an "export GTK_IM_MODULE=ibus", maybe deleting ~/.xinputrc, to see if that resolves. If so, this is a dupe of bug 144813
Hello and THANK YOU! I found the file .xinputrc in my home folder and deleted it. After restarting the system, LibreOffice runs without this blinking. Yes, this is a dupe of bug 144813, so I'll change the status accordingly. Cheers! *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 144813 ***
