Description: Scroll region is not a separate window object so cannot use scroll capture feature of tools such as Hypersnap. Please make the rows/columns scroll region a separate window object that can be utilized by the scroll capture feature of tools such as Hypersnap. Capture - Entire page with Scrolling; Ctrl + Shift + S Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create speaesheet with more rows than fit on screen. 2. Use a tool such as Hypersnap to do a scroll capture. 3. Actual Results: Capture entire visible window rather than the scrollable region. Expected Results: Scroll to capture the entire scrollable region. Even the portion that is off screen. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Perhaps other capture tools used with non windows OS are also inhibited.
I'm not sure about the technical aspects of this, and I feel there will be limitations for Calc (for example, the fact that even though you have limited data in cells, the sheet can be scrolled all the way to row 1,048,576. Is the tool supposed to grab all that?) What about using the export options that already exist in Calc, like File > Export as PDF > Structure > Whole sheet export, which will give you everything in one go?
Press escape to stop the capture once it has the desired rows. Export as PDF is close but doesn't include the surrounding columns/rows (border/margin). Even if they're selected. For instance empty narrow columns A & G (right/left) and rows 1 & 37 (above/below). Also would like it as an image (jpg, png, etc.).

For instance empty narrow > columns A & G (right/left) and rows 1 & 37 (above/below). > Also would like it as an image (jpg, png, etc.). Select an area > File > Export > tick "Selection", choose PNG format > Export. Works with empty surrounding rows/columns too. Solutions available currently are sufficient in my opinion. In any case, have you asked Hyperionics about this already? They are closed source, so makes it extra hard for us to know how they do things. https://hyperionics.com/forum2/tt.aspx?forumid=2
