Description mnoperson 2023-03-24 23:28:43 UTC
Description:
After both a forced shutdown or reboot of the system any open new writer file is offered for restoration when LibreOffice is reopened. When the process is used to attempt restoration it just shows a blank new page in Windows 10 while in Windows 11 the process to restore proceeds as if successful but when finish is clicked only a blank sheet pops up. Backup option is empty in both cases when you look for it after the failed restoration.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Type in Writer
2.Close windows without saving and closing writer document
3.Either reboot or shutdown and restart and reopen LibreOffice writer

Actual Results:
After restoration attempt a blank page appears

Expected Results:
A copy of the work entered in step 1.

Reproducible: Always

Thank you, mnoperson
Please update to 7.5.1, a few Windows crashes were fixed in that release. Let us know if the issue persists.
