Description Alex Thurgood 2023-04-07 09:33:24 UTC
Description:
1) Load a Writer document (in this case, a document written in French).

2) Menu - Tools - Spellcheck

3) Click on the Options button

4) Click on the link to install extra dictionaries

5) In the Dictionary Extensions dialog, type in "Fre", or "Ger", or "Fra", or "Deu" (for the latter two, if you are using FR or DE locales respectively)

6) The dialog is supposed to suggest a list of installable dictionary extensions corresponding to the letters entered.

The dialog is also supposed to contain an "Install" button, this is not present.

7) Nothing happens when entering the text string, no suggestions are made, and it seems that no internet connection is established.

Steps to Reproduce:
See above

Actual Results:
The add extra dictionaries dialog is broken, no dictionary suggestions are proposed, nor is there any "Install" button.

Expected Results:
The dialog is supposed to allow a user to enter a text string for the language of a dictionary extension to be searched, displayed, and be made available for download and installation.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes
