Created attachment 186739 [details] Unnecessary line settings in Sidebar The Properties deck of the Sidebar currently contains areas for settings not relevant to a line object. These should be eliminated. See attached image.
The Character and Paragraph sections relate to text attached to the shape, so it remains relevant. A ligne shape can have extra points inserted, and therefore have corners, so the Corner settings are also relevant. In my opinion, this is "won't fix".

I tried inserting text. When I did, another view (a text related view) was presented in the Properties deck of the Sidebar. After the text had been inserted. The text areas were useful when the line was selected. Now I understand why they are there. Thank you.
