Description Simon Lang 2023-04-20 08:36:08 UTC
Description:
Pictures with smoothed edges are not shown and exported on note pages correctly. Some parts of the pictures are cropped away in the output PDF.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the attached example presentation
2. Switch to note page view
3. Export the note page to PDF

Actual Results:
If a picture has smoothed edges effect activated (radius > 0pt), the some parts on the right side of the picture are missing while the note page is exported to PDF. From time to time, this effect is even shown on the note page itself. If smoothed edges effect is deactivated (radius set to 0pt), then the picture is shown correctly completely.

Expected Results:
Even with smoothed edges effect activated, a picture shall be visible and exported to PDF completely.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
The virtual border where pictures are cropped, seams to match to the boarder of a slide in 4:3 format. But I have not measured it. If this hypothesis is true, then any picture with activated smooth edges effect on a 16:9 slide is cut at the vertical right edge of a 4:3 slide which virtually matches the upper left corner (0,0) of the real 16:9 slide.

Could you please give a detailed description how you export note page to PDF?

I have set View → Notes, but pdf-export will only show the slide, no notes. And the slide will be shown without any error.

Got it:
PDF-Options → General → Structure → Export Notes Page

Why do we need NEW status here if we already know the bug was fixed in 7.6?

There are also bug fixes for LO 7.5, aren't?
