Description Alexander Van den Panhuysen 2023-04-20 10:40:19 UTC
Description:
In a Dialog screen, you can place TextFields, NumberFields and DateFields and give them a Width, a Height, a Border and so on, but when you use that Dialog screen, the appearance of these fields are badly wrong.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Make a Dialog screen via Tools -> Macro -> Edit ...
2.Place at least one of the following fields: TextField, NumberField, DateField.
3.Do a preview or launch the Dialog through a macro.

Actual Results:
The size of mentioned field is wrong and it has a wrong border.

Expected Results:
Fields with correct width and height and with the correct border.

Reproducible: Always

As a reporter, your responsibility is to provide everything needed to test your issue. You refused to do this, so I was forced to do your work for you and create and attach an example file.

I do not reproduce the small size of the text box on Windows or any of the Linux UIs. So someone on macOS should test this.

About the 3D Look vs. Flat borders, I confirm that the difference is only seen with the Linux gen UI. However, maybe we should remove the 3D Look entirely in this case.

Oh, now I see, you wanted a document with a functional Dialog screen inside of it so it could be previewed via Tools -> Macro ...
But I am not happy I had to wait several years to receive a reaction.
I will be happy when someone removes the 3D look entirely either, have it fixed please.
I apologize for my angry reactions.

I just downloaded LibreOffice 7.5.4.2 and installed it.
I don't see a change, no improvements :(.
