(In reply to Alexander Van den Panhuysen from comment #8) > Created attachment 187239 [details] > Showing bad appearance of fields in a Dialog. I looked at Tools - Macros - Organize Dialogs, but the document does not have any dialogs.
??!? Of course not !! As long as you don't make a dialog screen yourself, there is no Dialog to be find! I reported this strange result of the TextField in a Dialog screen already several years ago!

As a reporter, your responsibility is to provide everything needed to test your issue. You refused to do this, so I was forced to do your work for you and create and attach an example file. I do not reproduce the small size of the text box on Windows or any of the Linux UIs. So someone on macOS should test this. About the 3D Look vs. Flat borders, I confirm that the difference is only seen with the Linux gen UI. However, maybe we should remove the 3D Look entirely in this case. Oh, now I see, you wanted a document with a functional Dialog screen inside of it so it could be previewed via Tools -> Macro ... But I am not happy I had to wait several years to receive a reaction. I will be happy when someone removes the 3D look entirely either, have it fixed please. I apologize for my angry reactions.
I just downloaded LibreOffice 7.5.4.2 and installed it. I don't see a change, no improvements :(.
I tested it on my MacOS and I can confirm the issue Version: 7.6.2.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 56f7684011345957bbf33a7ee678afaf4d2ba333 CPU threads: 8; OS: Mac OS X 13.2.1; UI render: Skia/Metal; VCL: osx Locale: en-US (en_VN.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
