Description Thomas Wielatt 2023-04-26 06:47:53 UTC
I'd like to move small texts and formulas to the margin left.
This is not possible when the elements are ankered to the text or the passage. It is only possible to do this if the element is ankered to the page.

Inserting multiple pages sometimes causes the texts to be shifted correctly, but the formulas remain at the same page.

Have tried this. Created some text content, added a formula object (Insert → OLE Object → Formula Object…) and moved it to where I want. No problem here.

Anchor for the object is set "As Character" first. I have to set it "To Paragraph" or "To Character" to position the formula object.

Tested with
Version: 7.5.2.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 53bb9681a964705cf672590721dbc85eb4d0c3a2
CPU threads: 6; OS: Linux 5.14; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb)
Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

(OpenSUSE 15.4 64bit rpm Linux)

I don't know in which version this problem was solved but now it is possible to anker fomulas at characters and move them to the border.
Thanks!
