Open a form in Base. Got to Form → Push Button. Draw such a Push Button. Right mouse click → Control Properties. Move to General → Action. There are different actions, which work inside the form. There is one action "Open document/web page". You could open external documents with the button, but you couldn't open internal sub documents like other forms, reports, queries or tables. At this moment you have to switch in the GUI to main window of Base and have a look at the different folders. Or you could create macros. I would prefer to get a possibility to open another form document, a report, a query or a table by pressing a button inside a form. It should be possible for "normal" users without knowledge of macro code.
Tested in: Version: 7.6.0.0.alpha1+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: fc4f7db59152f606b6aa88cf32197700959d0f8b CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Sounds like a sensible request to me.
Ain't this a duplicate of bug 108701, but more comprehensive (as it allows more actions)? If it is, you can close 108701 as a dupe of this!
