Description seinfeld@jsli.org 2023-05-17 12:45:09 UTC
Description:
7.5.2.2 became very sluggish. I tried 7.5.3; same issue.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a large (22mb) doc that contains a couple graphics
2. Scroll or type

Actual Results:
Pinwheel appears, scrolling and typing is extremely sluggish

Expected Results:
Scrolling and typing should be smooth, without constant pinwheel-delays.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
When I deleted the graphics from the file, the problem went away. It appears not to be providing a large enough file buffer. I'm running a 2018 Mac Mini with 32 GB of RAM, OS 13.2.1 - I also tried shutting down other apps. I have not seen this sluggishness with any other software currently running.

PS - I can't work out how to copy the info from "About LibreOffice" - no copy function available there.

You have said in your report description:
"User Profile Reset: No"

You can try to reset user profile in order to see if the problem is from your local computer or not: Go to Help - Restart in Safe Mode - Restart - check "Reset to factory settings" and the two settings from there - "Apply changes and Restart". Now, see if your problem is solved, and come back here with some feedback. Thanks.
