Description Hossein 2023-05-23 12:34:41 UTC
Description:
LibreOffice splash screen, or oosplash is a utility that helps user to understand the time LibreOffice needs to load.

In some platforms like Windows and X11, the splash screen goes away too soon, before the main LibreOffice window becomes usable. In the meantime, the window becomes white, and not usable.

This is visible in both debug and release versions, but as the debug version is usually slower, it is more obvious with the debug versions.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Build LibreOffice from source code on Windows, or Linux (X11).
2. Start LibreOffice with instdir/program/soffice

Actual Results:
The splash screen goes away, but there is a few seconds of white screen, and then the main window becomes usable

Expected Results:
The splash screen should remain active and visible until the main LibreOffice window becomes ready

Reproducible: Always

I'm not seeing this, but if you want to investigate, let's set to NEW.
