Description plaldridgester 2023-05-23 17:11:30 UTC
Description:
I clicked the 'Save' icon slightly before or after Writer had started the autosave of the document. It went into a hard loop saving over and over. The program would not respond to attempts to stop it (clicking the red x). I had kill it with Task Manager and lost data. Upon restarting the program, it did not find the lost data. BTW, I am running on Windows 8.1. I had noticed that the autosave was acting strangely before this. It would appear to save the document two or three times on each autosave.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Reload the document into Writer
2.Make a change and wait for autosave to start
3.Click the 'Save' button

Actual Results:
Could not reproduce.

Expected Results:
I would not expect the program to ever go into a hard loop that could not be stopped without killing the program.

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce
