Description: Word documents I receive regularly do not display correctly - they are illegible as most of the text is replaced with random squiggles and letters. Sometimes (but not always) the text appears if you print the document. Sometimes (but not always) the text appears if you convert to PDF. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Word attachment 2.Look at it on the screen 3. Actual Results: 1. Open Word document 2. Look at it on the screen Expected Results: Unable to see the text in the document Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: The text should have been visible

It probably caused by font substitution, so it might be a (system) font issue
Thanks for your help and suggestions. I decided that asking the Secretary to use a brand new template with only Arial font text would be the much more straightforward solution (especially as I couldn't understand some of the "solutions" I've been presented with). Thanks again.
Thanks Tim. Setting the resolution to "works for me" instead, as "fixed" is for when a code patch fixes the issue.
