Description:
This made me leave LibreOffice.
AutoSave is deactivated by default. Even after activating it it will be disabled after installing an update. Made me loose hours of work several times. A no go.

Good by libre office

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install
2. auto save activate
3. install update
4. check autosave option

Actual Results:
data loss

Expected Results:
not to do the hour long work of document writing again

In LibreOffice 7.6 version, Backup and AutoRecovery will be enabled by default.

This version will be released Week 33, Aug 14, 2023 - Aug 20, 2023. Until then, these options can be enabled by the user: Tools - Options - Load/Save - General.
