Description: Libreoffice Calc seems to take user arrow key presses a little too literally. If a user holds down an arrow key when navigating cells, it seems that Libreoffice registers every repeated key press sent by the OS and tries to apply them to the navigation. The result is unintuitive for the user. The effect is that the user presses the arrow key intending to navigate to some other cell, perhaps performing a selection, but when they release the key, navigation continues for a long time, and they end up somewhere far from where they intended to be. To me, the expected behavior is that Libreoffice stops navigating almost immediately on release of the arrow key, so the user ends up where they expected to be. I believe PgDn and PgUp are similarly affected. Other users are affected, but don't know what to do about it, e.g.: https://ask.libreoffice.org/t/my-spreadsheeet-scrolls-itself-how-do-i-stop-it/26764 Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select a cell 2. Hold down the arrow key for a few seconds 3. Release the arrow key Actual Results: Cell navigation continues for a long time. Expected Results: Cell navigation stops almost immediately after releasing the arrow key. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: I don't think Excell has the same issue, or other things that scroll like web browsers etc. they all stop when you release the arrow key.
