Two points: * For me, while _creating_ a comment, the box expands automatically when required, so no problem there. * While creating or editing the text inside a comment, I cannot modify the size of the box. If I want to modify the size of the box, I have to end the text edition, show the comment, click on the comment box in order for it to have focus, and then I can modify its size (or position). Although I haven't tested with older versions, I don't recall this being different in the past. If you want to be able to modify the size of the comment box while creating or while editing the text, perhaps this should be an enhancement request (unless I am the only one with this behavior(?)). PS: Hopefully further comments are all posted in English (perhaps with original language and some automatic translation included).
The comment behaves the same as the similar 'callout' text box shape, only that the tail tip is fixed. LO 7.6 (August 23) will allow to set the formatting properties of comments in the style section in the sidebar. That will allow to set the "Fit width to text" property before creating a comment. The default setting is, that "Fit to text" is disabled for width and enabled for height. It is nowhere possible to use the resize-handles while editing the text in the shape. You can only determine in the shape style whether the shape itself adapts to the text and in which way. Changing the behavior so that edit mode and resize/drag mode are mixed, would be far-reaching. I doubt, that developers will touch it without a really very good reasoning. So for me this request is a "wontfix". But that is my personal opinion and therefore I will not change the Status.

Thanks it helped me a lot.
