Description: When using the "clone" feature with double-click to transfer for formatting to other cells, the mouse pointer is invisible when the mouse is in the data area. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open libreoffice calc 2. create empty sheet 3. Select a cell 4. Move the mouse pointer to the ribbon bar and double click on "clone" 5. Move the mouse back to the data area Actual Results: The mouse pointer becomes invisible when it enters the data area Expected Results: The mouse pointer should have changed to the "clone" appearance Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: When moving the mouse pointer out of the data area, e.g. back to the ribbon bar, the mouse pointer reappears. Other appearance changes of the mouse pointer work (tested: changing the width of column A, by going with the mouse pointer to the line between A and B) If you aim blindly to a cell, then the clone feature itself works flawlessly. The issue was first noticed after switching to Wayland. I'm using Wayland with KDE. Configuration from libreoffice: Version: 7.4.6.2 Build ID: 40(Build:2) CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 6.2; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+wayland) Locale: de-DE (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
Thank you for the report! I can reproduce with 7.4.7.2 with kf5 (cairo+wayland), But not reproduced with 7.5.3 with same kf5 (cairo+wayland). It was fixed in LO 7.5 by Michael Weghorn's commit 091f56e50748e3fd807b9bae88652b68834aac3a, a fix for bug 153333 (I verified with the linux-64-7.5 bibisect repo). So I am marking this report as a duplicate. Please update to LO 7.5 as 7.4 won't see further releases. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 153333 ***
