Description Don Matschull 2023-06-06 14:17:37 UTC
I draw a horizontal line. With the line selected, I go to the Properties deck of the Sidebar. In the Position and Size area, I change the Width to 2.00”. The length of the line in the Workspace adjusts as expected.

When I deselect the line (either by hitting Escape or clicking elsewhere) the line disappears from view.

The Navigator deck of the Sidebar still lists the line.

If I draw a frame around the area where the line was, a small box appears in the document and the Position and Size area of the Properties deck of the sidebar lists its position. However, the Width is listed as 0.00”. If I try to change this setting, nothing changes in the Workspace. When I take the focus of the Width setting, it reverts to 0.00”.

The same thing happens if I use the Position and Size dialog.

This only seems to happen with horizontal lines.

The problem described in my original post no longer plagues me.

The only thing I can think of that may have changed something is that I have been playing with the scale settings recently.
