Description Stevo 2023-06-16 11:12:15 UTC

EN:
If you want to export data from Base to Calc, Drag'n'Drop works. Copy'n'Paste, however, mixes up the column order or heading-column assignment!
VERY BAD ERROR!

Apart from the mixing error, it is irritating that these are different behaviors. So also the formatting is only taken over with C'n'P, but with D'n'D only the data is taken over.
Ideally there should be no difference between C'n'P and D'n'D!
Comment 1 Robert Großkopf 2023-06-16 17:51:03 UTC
Please add an example file which could show the mixing of heading and columns.

Might be parts of this is https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117436

Note: Drag and drop will create a data range, which could be refreshed if you change data in the database.
Copy and paste will copy the content, pasts it and tries to format it. Data couldn't be refreshed. And pasting will have errors like written in bug 117436
